In the role of Account Manager (fulltime, 40 hours) you will primarily work in the Dutch market in Retail, Foodservice and Industry. You will work closely with and report to the Senior International Account Manager.
Principal ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the Senior International Account Manager:
- Create account plans for the assigned market and customers (Competitor research, market analysis, economic developments, …)
- Work on developing a number of customers, including acquisition and growing of accounts by offering the right set of products and services.
- Regular customer visits and participation in fairs.
- Execute and follow up the sales process: 1. Send offer (formulate calculations, constantly inform customer about market updates) 2. Close contract (negotiate prices within set range) 3. Execute contract (closely work with colleagues to deliver the contract)
- Formulate and monitor reliable Sales forecasts (including collection of necessary information).
- Together with Marketing and / or customers: develop and realize campaigns to support the further growth of our brands (i.e.: actions, promotions).
- Analyse the current assortment, but also investigate the market and the competition to develop the right offering for each customer.
- Analyse the data (YouGov, GfK, …) to fully understand the market and provide the optimal service to our customers.
